Our History

Our story began when Hnreck Nazarian came to the United States in 1979 with $300 and an unstoppable work ethic. Hnreck worked as many jobs as he could, often working his way up from an entry level job to management. All along the way, he had family and friends who supported him.


When Hnreck started opening his own restaurants, he wanted to provide the same opportunity and encouragement to his employees that people had offered to him. He understands that no education or language barrier can hold you back if you are dedicated and want to get somewhere. This philosophy has helped Nazarian Global Enterprises grow a loyal staff, with over 400 employees working for NGE for at least 10 years.


Over the years Nazarian Global Enterprises has opened several independent restaurants and more than 17 IHOP franchises across the country.
